Beacon Announces Partnership with Protocol Labs to Support Web3 Accelerator Cohorts

Beacon and Protocol Labs are joining forces to back the next generation of top web3 founders

New York, June 16, 2023 -  Beacon, an accelerator built by web3 founders for web3 founders, and Protocol Labs, the open source R&D lab building tools to radically improve the internet, announced a partnership to back the next generation of web3 companies. Protocol Labs will support the companies in Beacon's biannual cohorts by providing them access to decentralized storage, mentorship opportunities, and Protocol Labs’ network.

Having previously partnered with Manta Network and Polygon among other web3 ecosystems, Beacon’s partnership with Protocol Labs aims to increase the level of support that Beacon provides to the companies accepted into its highly selective cohorts.

Beacon organizes two cohorts annually, accommodating 10-20 companies per cohort. Accepted projects gain access to funding, mentorship, and a broad network of more than 400 investors through engaging in Demo Days. The partnership with Protocol Labs will increase the level of support Beacon provides to their founders through offering workshops with the Filecoin community and access to hands-on mentorship and Protocol Labs’ community of founders and investors.
